Breaking news....

Sadly, Sean Altman has a throat infection and is unable to perform tonight. In the ten years that Coffee With Conscience has been around this has only happened once before!  But, fortunately, we have found a way to turn this situation around!

The Coffee With Conscience Concert Series proudly presents

Greg Tannen

Coffee With Conscience presented Greg two years ago on a double bill with Jim Boggia. It was one of our better shows! Please click over to his website and listen to a few songs off his newly released CD, "Maybe the Sun!" We guarantee that you will love his songs and enjoy this evening of music!!

About Greg.....

Born in Australia, raised in Toronto and New York, briefly a resident in Colorado, Ohio, and North Carolina, Greg Tannen is the son of an amateur jazz pianist and the grandson of a magician.

His music has "won more awards than his website has space to list, such is it's quality" and with one listen, it’s easy to hear why. Besides a flood of wins in international songwriting competitions (John Lennon, UNISONG, USA, ISC), and in festivals (Sierra Songwriters, Telluride, Rocky Mountain Folks), Greg’s music can be heard on national TV, on national radio, and in award-winning films. He has also shared the stage with musical greats such as Rosanne Cash and John Hammond.

He has three albums out, all of which were chosen as a "Top 12 Independent Album" of the year by Performing Songwriter magazine.

Greg lives in and works out of NYC, and is a regular at places like the legendary Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Living Room. He tours either solo or with his band.

Coffee With Conscience Concert Series

Ahrre Maros is the owner of Ahrre's Coffee Roastery in Westfield & the Fair Trade Coffee Company on line. He has been presenting live musical events since 1992, when he first opened the Common Ground Cafe in Summit. The Cafe is gone now, but Ahrre continues bringing Professional Touring Musical Artists to the area for the benefit of the local community and several local Charities.

Currently, Ahrre presents the Coffee With Conscience Concert Series in Westfield, which is a Seven-show Series which acts as a fund-raiser—raising much needed funds for worthy causes—while providing the participants with the opportunity to attend quality performance events near their homes, providing an audience with a cultural experience, providing artists with a venue to display their talents, and generally strengthening the local community by bringing a group of people together for an evening of music in a comfortable setting.
